Terms of Use & Disclaimer

1. What DevCannabis is
DevCannabis is an independent information and data-journalism service that collects, normalizes, and analyzes publicly available records published by the Florida Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU) and other government regulators. We do not grow, sell, distribute, or handle cannabis or any cannabis product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for any regulator or licensee.
2. Information only — not advice
Nothing on DevCannabis is legal, financial, investment, medical, tax, or professional advice, and nothing here creates any advisory or fiduciary relationship. Decisions you make are your own. For advice about your situation, consult a qualified, licensed professional. For official determinations, rely on the regulator of record (OMMU / Florida Department of Health), not on us.
3. Sources, accuracy & "as-is"
The underlying facts come from public government records; we attribute and timestamp our sources and link back to them wherever practical. Source documents can contain errors, formats change, and our parsing or analysis can drift. We therefore provide all content "as-is" and "as-available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Our analysis, labels, rankings, and lineage judgments are our good-faith interpretation, not statements of fact about any business. Always verify against the official source before acting.
4. Corrections
We want to be correct. If you believe a number, label, or source is wrong, please tell us — with the source URL and the date observed where possible — via our corrections page or error report form. We log and publish corrections openly.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DevCannabis and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its data — even if advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent the law allows. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
6. Acceptable use & access
Public dashboards are free to read. Programmatic access (API and exports) and bulk or commercial reuse of the DevCannabis platform are governed by our Access Policy. The underlying public records belong to everyone — you can always re-pull them from the original regulator. Don't abuse, overload, or attempt to disrupt the service, and don't represent DevCannabis content as your own or operate a clone under our name.
7. Third-party content & submissions
User-submitted sources and corrections are reviewed before they affect published data. We may remove or decline any submission. Copyright concerns about content hosted here can be sent to our designated agent (contact below); we respond to valid notices under the DMCA.
8. Trademarks
“DevCannabis”™ and the DevCannabis logo are marks of DevCannabis. Referencing us with attribution is welcome; using our name or marks to imply endorsement or to brand a competing product is not.
9. Changes & contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be dated here. Questions, legal notices, or DMCA matters: contact us.
