Known limitations

What to keep in mind reading this data — the gaps and caveats we surface rather than paper over.

• WA's XLSX-first sourcing and 2017 traceability cliff should not be copied to other states by default.
• Per-operator sales exist publicly ONLY through Oct 2017 — everything after is statewide/county aggregate.
• Medical is folded into adult-use retail (single channel); DOH patient counts are not a public timeseries.
• The 37% excise tax rides in the county sales file; never double-count it as separate 'sales'.
• Per-license sales are public only through Oct 2017 — market-share analytics are historical, not live.
• Market/tax data is annual (fiscal-year) county XLSX; there is no clean public retail price index.
• Medical is folded into adult-use retail; DOH patient counts are not a public timeseries.
